In week 3 we are continuing on with starting up our sites and completing the first couple assignments. The first assignment was doing our first weekly reflection and our first post. I did an introduction post explaining what my inquiry project is and why I decided to do it. Then my next post was my first official post in creating my recipe book specifically talking about gathering my materials so that I am successful in this project. These first couple posts were interesting to put together because I am still navigating how to work through this site so it took me a while to figure it out. Lastly in our zoom we learned about AI and had a guest speaker named Darcy Mcnee to open our eyes on how to bring AI into the classroom in a thoughtful way. The cookie activity that she mentioned where they baked three batches of cookies, the first one grandma’s recipe, the second one ChatGPT recipe, and the third one normal recipe. It was interesting to hear her talk about how this activity showed the benefits and the disadvantages of using AI in a clear way for kids to understand.
